May 29^th& 30^th -age 6-8-BEGINNING! (Rz Dz 5-7, 5ks, Team Rz Dz, Dazzles)

May 29^th & 30^th-ages 8-11-BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE! (Starlettes & Mini Stars)

*Dancers will be auditioning with the level & team they are in this year,

unless you are asked by Shannon or a Dance Teacher otherwise.

All Dancers must sign up for auditions in The Store.

4:15- check in (fill out paperwork & pay fee)

4:30-5:15- learn ballet combo

5:30-6:30- learn jazz combo

May 30th

10:30-10:50- check in (receive audition number)

10:50-11:15-review ballet and jazz combos

11:30-1:30- auditions!

6:00-6:20-check in (fill out paperwork & pay fee)

6:30-7:15- learn ballet combo

7:30-8:30- learn jazz combo

RECITAL SATURDAY

Just a couple of reminders for the performance and lighting rehearsal SATURDAY.

Dancers should wear their class uniform to lighting rehearsal and bring all their dancer shoes. Please arrive at both lighting rehearsal and 4:00 CALL TIME wearing your class uniform.

I recommend that Starlettes come to lighting rehearsal with hair and make-up already done. There are two hours only in between their morning rehearsal and call time.

Please send something quiet for your dancer to do while waiting in the dressing room. This is a long night. You may send water to drink and a dry non-messy snack. Please do not send chips or chewy candy. Pretzels, trail mix, string cheese, wheat thins, craisins and dried fruit are all appropriate snacks.

Attached you will find a list of the show order so your dancer will know which costume to put on first. PLEASE remember to send black leotards for Dazzles 1 & 2.

**Starlettes: Please try to hot glue the sunflower on your tap costume. We had a few casualties at dress rehearsal. Skirts should be worn around the waist not hips, and safety pinned. Cooties leotards and no tights should be worn with their skirts. After the Starlette ballet dance, we (the teachers) will take out their buns and leave ponytails for their tap dance. There are 20 numbers in between, so there will be plenty of time. Remind them not to panic :) If any dancers is concerned that their ballet costume is see through, a flesh colored leotard may be worn underneath.
